2007-Nov-15: Cincinnati Vail Teams Forming Now
From Michael Jakobi, CFP MJakobiD1NG@D0NGcinci.rr.com (TO EMAIL MIKE REMOVE THE 'DING' AND THE 'DONG' FROM HIS EMAIL ADDRESS)

Dudahs/Cincy! I am using Fish's email here to notify everyone I have the
tournament dates for VAIL, 2008, (see attached). I just finished my last
Guard duty call in Denver and have secured at least ONE sponsorship for the
ELITE and MASTERS divisions in Vail with VENDETTAS in the Vail Village.
They sponsored the last team I fielded in the Elite division. I am also
trying to get a sponsorship for the ELITE division with Fed Ex.

OK then....be advised PAT KENNEDY will handle all ELITE division recruiting
and roster selection for the ELITE team. I will handle all details for the
MASTERS division team, (ages 33 or over...no cap now at age 39 for Masters.
If you are playing in the Super Masters with the GRAYBIRDS with MJ, Harry
and Mike C, you can also play on my Masters team...but note the game days
are the same for both divisions. Super Masters gets an extra day and you
have to be at least 40 for Super Masters). ELITE division is ALL ages and PK
will handle all communications, etc., for that team as he did for
Louisville.

PK and myself are slated to get letters of invitation for the Masters and
ELITE divisions respectively in December. I will begin formal recruiting for
the Masters team at that time. If you are of Masters age and played for the
Flying Pigs in Louisville, believe me when I say you will own the Masters
division in Vail and be more than capable of playing in the ELITE division
once the Masters are finished. Sign up for both teams and it will be more
than a week long of games every day and enjoying summer in Vail.

I am also going to work on lodgings for both teams and so far I have
agreement with PRU Real Estate in Vail to discount condos 25% for both
divisions.

It takes a lot of work to ready teams for the Vail Tournament, so the key is
to let us know of your interest early enough. You can expect any player
fees will need to be paid no later than March or April of 2008 as that is
when final tournament fees are due. MIKE C went to Vail for the first time
this past summer and Fisher came for his 2nd year in a row, so they can tell
all of you what a good time it is. Since I doubt any of you listen to me.
I have been going to Vail the past 20 years in a row though and it is never
disappointing. It is worth the expense and the time. Your families will
also have a great time if you care to bring them along. More later I get
formal invitation but those who are interested in the MASTERS division,
please give me some kind of heads up you might want to play. MJ
