Lacrosse is coming to the Show-Me STATE GAMES.
The Show-Me STATE GAMES is a non-profit organization that runs an
Olympic-style amateur sports festival for Missourians of all ages and
skill levels. This year, which is our 22nd, continues to grow into
what
will once again be the largest state games in the country. In 2005, we
had 36,067 participants compete in over 35 different events. This year
we have added new events pushing that number over 40, and most
importantly the addition of Lacrosse.
2006 Show-Me STATE GAMES will be held primarily on July 21-23, July
28-30, and August 4-6.
The Lacrosse Tournament will be held on the Final weekend and take
place
August 5-6, 2006 at the Hinkson Fields on the campus of the University
of Missouri - Columbia. The August weekend is the only weekend that we
can allow out-of-state teams and participants. So we want to encourage
any out of state teams to consider participating that weekend if they
are available.
